Pay Assessments by Bank Bill-Pay

Payment by bank bill-pay is a popular option and usually reliable. However, the date on which your bank removed the funds from your account is not necessarily the date on which the check was mailed. Bank policy and procedure account debit dates and check mailing dates vary. Also, each bank may mail checks from a different part of the country. Check with your bank for their specific policy. Once you know the policy, including expected mail delivery time to Phoenix, AZ, make sure that your scheduled date of payment allows enough time for the check to arrive in Phoenix, AZ by the assessment due date.

Bill-pay checks arrive at the bank without a payment coupon. Therefore, to avoid processing delays, please ensure that the face of the check includes at least 2 of the following 3 pieces of information.
  1. Owner's name as provided to the association.
  2. Your account number with the association. This account number appears on your payment coupon and on the community web site if your community has one. It has the format of "XXXX-NNN" with 4 alphabet characters before the hyphen (our internal code for your association) and 2 to 4 digits following the hyphen (your unit or lot number within your community).
  3. The full mailing address of your property.

Checks mailed from Washington can take up to 7 days to reach the bank. You are responsible for ensuring your payment arrives by the due date. Do not send payments to Trestle's Redmond office. Doing so will delay processing of your payment.
