Trestle Sponsors WSCAI’s Board Member 101 Training and Olympia Day Legislative Summit

Trestle Community Management is proud to support the Washington State Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (WSCAI) through sponsorship of two significant events in February 2026: the Board Member 101 Training in Everett and the Olympia Day Legislative Summit. These events advance Board education and strengthen advocacy efforts that benefit community associations throughout Washington.
Supporting Board Member Training in Everett
The Board Member 101 Training is a two-hour in-person event providing Board Members with foundational knowledge they need to govern effectively. Attendees will learn about the role and duties of the Board, how to run productive meetings, the basics of budgeting, the purpose of reserve studies, Washington State laws, and the importance of governing documents.
This event is designed to help new and experienced Board Members build skills, gain confidence, and understand the resources available through WSCAI. Industry leaders will guide participants through core responsibilities that shape the success and stability of their communities.
Trestle is pleased to support this training, as informed and well-prepared Board Members play a crucial role in building strong, transparent, and well managed associations.
Advancing Advocacy Through the Olympia Day Legislative Summit
On February 25, 2026, WSCAI will host its inaugural Olympia Day Legislative Summit, an event bringing association leaders to the Washington State Capitol for a day of advocacy and engagement.
This event offers an important opportunity to strengthen WSCAI’s voice in legislative discussions, particularly as conversations continue surrounding the Washington Uniform Common Interest Ownership Act (WUCIOA) and future updates anticipated between now and 2028 and beyond.
Trestle is honored to support this effort, recognizing that effective advocacy helps protect the interests of communities and ensures that policymakers understand the needs of the community associations and their homeowners.
Our Ongoing Commitment to Washington Community Associations
Sponsoring these two distinct events reflects Trestle’s long-standing dedication to strengthening communities through leadership development, education, and advocacy. The Board Member 101 Training helps prepare community leaders for day-to-day governance, while the Legislative Summit advances long term policy engagement on issues that shape the future of common interest communities across Washington.
By supporting WSCAI’s work, Trestle reinforces its commitment to equipping Board Members with essential knowledge, promoting transparent governance, and contributing to meaningful conversations that influence state level policy.
