Trestle Welcomes Paul Grucza and Expands its Educational Offerings

Serving on a community association board is one of the most meaningful ways a homeowner can contribute to their community. It is also a role that carries real responsibility. Effective governance requires more than good intentions. It requires informed decision‑making, a clear understanding of fiduciary duty, and the ability to navigate increasingly complex legal and operational expectations.
Supporting Boards has always meant more than day‑to‑day management. Trestle’s role is to advise, guide, and help Boards make sound decisions that protect their communities today and position them well for the future. Education is a critical part of that commitment.
We are pleased to welcome Paul D. Grucza, CMCA, AMS, PCAM as our new Strategic Advisor & Client Excellence Ambassador.
Expanding How We Support Board Members
Paul brings more than four decades of experience in community association governance, education, and leadership. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with Board Members and community managers across the country, helping them understand not only what their responsibilities are, but how to carry them out effectively and responsibly.
His background includes serving as a past National President of the Community Associations Institute and receiving CAI’s Educator of the Year award. More importantly, Paul is known for his ability to translate complex governance, legal, and financial concepts into practical guidance that Boards can apply in real‑world situations.
In his role, Paul will focus on delivering exclusive industry education to the Boards and managers of our communities. This education is designed to complement our consultative management approach by ensuring Boards are not only supported operationally but also equipped to govern with confidence and clarity.
Education as a Core Service
Community associations face increasing regulatory requirements, heightened homeowner expectations, and greater financial complexity. In this environment, education is not optional. It is essential to reducing risk, maintaining trust, and supporting effective leadership.
Paul’s work will focus on key areas that directly impact Board and community success. Through webinars, training sessions, and ongoing educational initiatives, Paul will work alongside Trestle teams to provide Boards and managers with the knowledge they need to make informed, defensible decisions.
Strengthening Communities Through Informed Leadership
Trestle’s approach to community management has always emphasized proactive advisory support, mature processes, and long‑term planning. The addition of Paul Grucza formalizes and strengthens this approach by making Board education a more visible and intentional part of how we serve our clients.
Strong communities depend on strong Boards. Strong Boards are built through education.
We are proud to welcome Paul to the Trestle team and look forward to the value his experience and insight will bring to the Boards and communities we serve.
